A Gauri Shankar is two Rudraksha beads that have grown fused together naturally — not glued or joined afterwards. The pairing represents Shiva and Parvati together, and it is traditionally kept by couples and families for harmony in the household.
Because the fusion has to occur naturally on the tree, genuine Gauri Shankar beads are uncommon. Each one is X-ray checked to confirm the join is natural and both halves have intact chambers.
